I’ve made a promise to myself to own an XJ40 as soon as I can afford one. IMO among the best looking sedans ever made. Also, a purple wagon and that blue thing was an Alfa Romeo GTA

A pre-war Citroen! 7CV I think..?

There’s a lot of awesome here. A lot. Are there vehicles on the lot at all times, or just leading up to auctions?

If the Citroen is a 7CV, it is prewar, as I believe that model did not resume production after the war. This one appears to have a trunk, which makes me suspect it is a 1950s model, maybe a UK-built 15CV or big 6.

My eyes initially went to the early W140 in a background shot. RHD conversion Camaro is an odd duck, along with the kit on the 928S4. I think big green is a 48 Olds.

What’s the mint green droptop ute in the picture with the E and the trike? Looks a little like a coachbuilt jobbie, maybe mid ‘30s from Holden back when they were a coachbuilder? Couldn’t guess what the source was - looks a bit Willys but they mostly built their own. Maybe an Austin?

HOLY CRAPS! Lots of awesome! Your mission is to buy that FSM Niki and ship it to me! Still intending to import a 126p here to Canada in the next year or two! VERY surprised you found one there as I don’t think there are too many left in Oz!

That Citroen is a Traction Avant - a Citroën 11 CV Légère (Light) most likely. The chrome grill tells me it’s probably a POST-war model...?

Oh man I walked around that W140 several times. Over 300,000 km and not a mark on it inside. Incredibly well built cars.

Cool info on the Citroen thanks! ~my knowledge from that time period wavers. (And I didnt even notice that the Camaro was RHD haha).

Not often the other cars in frame are so small as to make an Austin Seven look normal.

I think there’s a car auction every two months or so, so there’s always new cars out. I’ll stop by whenever I have some time to kill on the way home.

20-30 series Toyotas are almost completely unheard of here in the States. Rather rare out there too, I’d warrant.

I wish I had taken a better photo of the Niki. There would be very few left in this condition. Do it! I’m sure it would be a joy to drive around in.

I believe the 1948 Oldsmobile (better green) is a 76 Dynamic Sedan. A more choice model than most.

This XM sedan is a Futura, which is rather nice. I believe the number two steps behind it with the kinked A-pillar is a ‘59 or ‘60 Chevy or Pontiac.

Yeah you’re right... I see 40 series occasionally but never anything earlier. It would be a huge job getting that thing registered again.

The W140 there looks like an older one too, probably around 25 years old now. Unfairly maligned cars that really hold up if you care for them.

I already saved the necessary money - just need the job and living situation to change to allow for it! :)
